Another title for Iris

It is with tremendous pleasure that we get to announce that Iris aka Sandwynn's Storm Treasure earned the third qualifying score needed for her Rally Advanced title.  Iris came back from maternity leave with style.  I take responsibility for our relatively low score as I finished the first station before getting her to do the second required sit.  But considering that she's taken much of the year off for motherhood, I couldn't be happier with her.

Our thanks to the Souhegan Kennel Club for hosting such a nice event at a great facility.  I'll definitely be looking to return to Amherst.  Our thanks as well to our judge Ms Tibby Chase for a lovely course.  And of course thanks to the volunteers who made it all possible.  What a great smooth running event this was.

And last, but by no means least Madame Poppy.  Poppy has come to really like going to dog shows after initially being a bit reserved about the whole experience.  Poppy seems to prefer Advanced where there's no silly leash to get in her way.  Poppy was again a wonderful little working gal.  We had to do a "do over" when she got distracted by the dumb-bell being thrown in the adjoining obediance ring.  I was even startled to see something white flying by in my very limited peripheral vision.  But, despite distractions, Poppy worked with me to earn a very respectable 91.  I was actually pleased with my handling of her; as was Diane our instructor.

Congratulation are due to a few others.  Congratulation to Diane and Stormy (Iris's sister) for earning their Rally Novice.  Congratulation to Eve Belzarc and Breezy for earning their Rally Novice as well.
