Hi Todd and Amanda,

I took Odin down to the Southern New England chapter NA test on Friday. It was a beautiful day and they have a really beautiful facility for training and testing there in Bristol CT. Anyway - things went very well and I am proud to say that he scored a prize 1 with a maximum score of 112. He pointed five birds in the 20 minute search/hunt and had no problems with any of the other portions of the test. It was great to meet so many enthusiastic dog trainers and hunters. I am very proud as always of my great dog and am continually grateful that we found Marshfield Kennels. The icing on the cake was that Saturday was the opening day of grouse season, and although we didn't have a lot of time this weekend we did get out for a few hours and got the fist grouse of the year in the bag. He also pointed many woodcock but the season doesn't start until October 8th. We trained a lot this summer. It was really enjoyable and it has been great to see his progress. I am glad that you require that all your dogs get NA tested. I am sure I would have trained - but maybe not as much. Now I am looking forward to a great fall of hunting and already looking forward to beginning training again next summer. I hope things are well with you. I see that you have another litter of Berkley/Dove pups on the way. All I can say is that anyone looking for a shorthair would be foolish not to jump on one of these pups right now. They rock!!

Thanks Mike.  It's good owners like you that make us look good.  We are so happy with the Dove x Berkly pups.  They are beautiful and trainable and just everything we strive to get out of our breeding program.  Good luck.  I hope you limit out every day!
