Monte's hips are .19/.17.  This is in the 100th percentile.  It's the 100th percentile of the breed that has the tightest hips of any I can find a PennHIP average for.  Click on this to check out GSP's and how they rank against other breeds (scroll all the way down for an interesting chart).

OK, so out of the 4 GSP's we are breeding, three have 100th percentile hips.  Dove, Berkley and Monte.  Diva's are in the 70th percentile, and still at the "magic number" where HD does not occur.

If you are concerned about Hip Dysplasia, please understand that we've done everything humanly possible to eliminate it from the breed.
