She's here!

After much anticipation by us and the folks at Cedar Hill Farm, Zingara arrived at 10 pm last Thursday.  I've been scouting around for a new equine partner for about two years now.  I've looked at thousands of ads.  Thanks to the wonderful generosity of the folks of Cedar Grove Sporthorses http://cedargrovesporthorses.homestead.com/ a fabulous mare has come to me on long-term lease.  Nicky is off teaching another adult amateur the ropes.

Zingara is a four year old Dutch mare with a pedigree the likes of which dreams are made of.  She is by Jazz out Imago.  Imago is a mare by Samber who has produced multiple performance horses.  I will be riding and showing her.  She'll take some periodic breaks in her training in order to produce some embryos to be born via surrogates.  This will allow her to have a performance career while still passing on some great genes.
