Congratulations Megan!

Despite the wretched weather brought to us courtesy of Kyle, Todd and I went to UNH this morning to watch Megan Taylor ride.  Megan is one of our technicians at York County Veterinary Hospital.  This spring after a few years of being horseless, Megan went to the racetrack and picked up a retired race horse (seven years old) to be here next project horse.  Her background in riding is as a talented event rider.

Cabana Boy (Rizzi) has surpassed all her expectations.  He is proving to be a wonderfully athletic creature who has taken to jumping as though he was born to it.  Rizzi does well in both Stadium and Cross Country and already looks to be an upper level horse.  We have no photos due to the drizzle, but Megan and Rizzi went clean both Stadium and Cross County to finish on their dressage score.  Based on her standing going into today, Megan finished in the ribbons her first time out at a recognized competition with a green horse.  So Congratulations!!!!!!
