Turner Beast Captured -- Free* to Wonderful Home
I've captured the famous Turner Beast in the Puppy Cabin.

It's wily and tough to get a good photo.

If you look into it's eyes too long, you become a zombie.

It looks like it could carry your children off.

OK, enough fun at Roscoe's expense. Taking good pictures of dogs with a digi cam is so very difficult. Poor guy was scared to death, but did not growl or anything. He couldn't help but try to come to me as I disparately tried to get the shot. (For good photos I recommend Dusty Perin.) I don't know what that look on his face is, but it is not anger.
Roscoe is a 13 year old Pomeranian, and he needs a good home. His owner felt he should die, because they couldn't afford him. Dr. Amanda refused and took him in. Now we need to find a good home for him.
Pomeranian rescue is so over-filled they can't even get a foster home for him.
Here's a better picture:

Roscoe is really sweet, and he needs a family or person who will take a few pounds off him and keep them off. Being fat is really hard on his health. The last pet that Dr. Amanda refused to kill because it was fat, trusting the family to put her on a diet, veterinarian shopped until they found one to murder her. Yeah, I said it, murder. "Convenience Euthanasia" is murder. Obesity is an easily and cheaply treatable condition -- feed the dog less.

So Little Roscoe needs a home, one who will be happy they saved his life. Someone who can measure his food and not give him snackies. Non-hunters take note: Although I won't sell you a hunting dog, I will happily give you a non-hunting dog. Screening for this little guy will be stringent. *He's also racked up about $75 in veterinary costs, so we're asking for that as an adoption fee. Adoption fees help keep folks from "impulse" adopting, which is bad for the pet when the impulse wears off.
He's been heartworm tested, vaccinated, neutered as a puppy. His previous owner claims he has no bad habits. We can send Roscoe home with his current medical records and a clean health certificate.
He has a condition that makes him cough when he's excited. Making him thinner will dramatically reduce the coughing, but he's had it all his life. Although he's 13, that's not particularly old for this breed. I suspect he has years of love and fun left in him. Remember, older dogs don't eat shoes and underpants.
Although he's adorable now, I think with a longer coat (he's clipped short) he'd be even more adorable.

Good News, although Pomeranian rescue was of NO help whatsoever, our friends at Min Pin rescue helped us find Roscoe a home in just a couple of days. He's living with an older gentleman in senior housing.
