As I mentioned in an earlier post, Convenia is a cool new antibiotic for dogs and cats.  We've used it on our Jeeves, an indoor-outdoor cat who returns home occasionally battle scarred.  He would be tough to pill twice daily, or even daily because while we usually see him every day, sometimes it's not at the same time.

He got an icky abscess on his face, so Dr. Amanda tried the Convenia on him.



About a week later, the abscess is gone, and the antibiotic is still working.  We're really happy with Convenia and hope that the results continue to be good.  If you have a skin infection on your pet, ask your veterinarian if it would be appropriate.
