Bees flying

I forgot to post these pictures yesterday.  The first thing you do when inspecting your hive is look to see what's going on outside.  A lot of bees out means fewer bees in, and foragers brining back nature's goodness makes for happy bees.  This is hive #1.  I'm going to have to make up better names for the hives.

This is Hive #2.  As I mentioned before, they seem to have more flying bees, but are less productive at building wax.  You can see that several have huge payloads of pollen, but have to take a number to get inside.
