NY Times Lays Out reasons to NOT vote for McCain
Here's the piece.
Let's see, he supports crippling the US economy for "global warming." Did you know that worst case, every "extra" ton of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere causes $2 worth of damage? And the proposed "solutions" to that problem cost $20 per ton of reduction?
He trampled the first amendment by siding with liberal democrats on campaign finance reform.
He worked with Teddy Kennedy for an amnesty for illegals bill.
They forgot when he stabbed his party and America in the back when he sided with the Dems in the "Gang of 14" on Bush's judicial appointments.
The fact that the liberal fringe NY Times is for him is reason enough to be against him.
With Fred out, there is no candidate that I'm 100% for. I think Mit will be the best all around candidate and president, but I'm sore at him for continuing the Clinton Gun Ban in Massachusetts.
The Times savages Mit for being a flip-flopper, but McCain is every bit as big a U turn artist. He was for amnesty, against the boarder fence, and opposed proof of citizenship to get benefits (free money from the government) in Arizona, now he's changed his tune. He opposed the Bush tax cuts, but since it drove up government revenues (like tax cuts always do) now he wants to make it permanent. McCain is a liberal.
