Bob Knight = Ugly Hunter
I love it when celebrities hunt. Most of them really help our cause. Bob Knight recently got in a videotaped confrontation with a homeowner who claimed his house was showered with lead pellets from Knight's hunting party. I don't think that honest mistake (I'll give the benefit of the doubt) is that big a deal, but the homeowner absolutely has the right to be angry and ask them to move on.
Lead pellets landing on you or your property aren't dangerous, but it's disturbing. I've been hit with them at least three times, once they weren't under the power of gravity, but the gun. At the very mildest, putting lead on someone's yard is like throwing a coffee cup out your car window.
Knight's reaction is why so much land is posted against hunting. He should loose his hunting license for at least a year. First he didn't put his gun down when dealing with an irate citizen. Second he stood there and argued. Third he didn't move on immediately. That hunting spot can't be that great.
You can watch the video yourself.
