With everything else that went on,  I never got the chance to write an entry about how the horse show went last weekend.  I took Nicky to the second UNH dressage show.  We missed the first one due to my sinus surgery.  He was a very good horse.  Settled right into his  temporary stall.  Went for a hack around the grounds while Jen's horse was thinking about being stupid.  Both tests were pleasant efforts.  Just missed getting the scores needed at first level towards my Bronze medal (two scores of 60% or better at first, second, and third levels).  Never achieved the brilliance we can have at home, but functional.  So, for now, Nicky gets to continue his career as a working horse.
