Fantasy Football Anyone?
OK, it might seem odd, but I love fantasy football. I've played on-line leagues and one "live" league. I enjoyed the live league, knowing the opponents personally and some of the trash talk. The problem I had was some of the guys were absolute jerks. Also, everyone who lost each week had a "new" idea on how to tweak the rules for next year.
The on-line league is fun, but there is very little chatter among perfect strangers.
The other difficulty I have is the hunting. You can't be as devoted to football when you are hundreds of miles from an internet connection for weeks at a time. You kind of set a "safe" roster and go to bird camp.
I'd like to play a league with folks who have the same "handicap." Anyone interested? I need 11 more.
We'll play sportingnews.com's default rules (pretty typical performance scoring with team defense) so there won't be any debate about rules, and all commissioner duties will be left to the computer.
