Dasher passed away yesterday about 30 hours after she was born.  She was the one who was hardest to get jump-started, and had a habit of wandering away from the litter and Dove.  We often found her alone and cool to the touch.  She did put on weight, and after her first night, I figured it was safe to name her.

Amanda found her cold and blue and got her jump-started with something I believe injected into the heart.  But she faded again almost immediately.

I'm taking it pretty hard.  Dove seemed pretty depressed.

The good news is the rest are vigorous and healthy.
