Dovie had her x-ray taken over the weekend.  If you've never seen one, the spines look like zippers.  Dove's x-ray had the entire office buzzing.  Nobody had seen one quite like it.  It looked like an explosion at the zipper factory.

You count skulls.  There are 8 of them, for sure.  There is also one shoulder blade that might not be associated with a skull, perhaps 9.

The interesting thing is the pups ran off the page.  Not enough room on the film to fit her body.  Amanda says 10 or 11 likely as the pups are definitely up under her ribs and pushing out.

The pups are also kind of disorganized.  Before she whelps, the pups will line up and get in order to be brought into the world.  Everyone thought she was ready to go early (except me).  Now they think a little late.

I'm still holding onto Thursday, but it might be as late as Saturday.
