OK, as you can imagine, I felt I would need to find a new job in Maine.  As much as I hate my job, I really don't hate it.  I'm comfortable here and I'm good at what I do. 

Amanda suggested I was helping to install the exact kind of system that would allow me to work from home, even if home was in Maine.  (She's so bright.)

Anyway I've asked my bosses about it and they are willing to try to work something out.  I've been here 13 years and we negotiate compromises, it's what an insurance agent does.  So we should be able to work something out allowing me to retain this job.  Carl is even suggesting a Maine branch for me to run.  Hmmm...  I already have construction contacts, so maybe...

Oh, and another thing, the mortgage dude says we'll be set to close on time.  Amanda has the home inspection lined up.
