Improve YOUR Love Life

OK, you may or may not know that I go Salsa Dancing with Amanda.  The simple fact about dancing, any kind of dancing, is it makes women randy.

Here's the set up.  Every other Saturday night the Portsmouth Ballroom has Salsa night.  Starting at 8:00 they have about an hour of instruction, basic and advanced.  Then they dance until the wee hours of the morning.  You don't need anything special, including talent.  The dress code varies, but I suggest a shirt that buttons and some decent slacks.  That being said, one of the regular couples that show up, she's in a fancy dress, he's in jeans and a t-shirt every time I see them.  He can pull it of because he can dance.  You'd better look nice.

OK, let's take three levels of guys:

Long-timer:
If things are getting stale at home, take her dancing.  Trust me, it isn't so bad once you get there and once you go home, even better.

Dating:
This is a great date.  If you are in the early stages, it puts you in socially-acceptable close contact.  If you've been dating a while or just started, she'll think this is a very romantic and spontaneous thing to do.

Single:
Guys the buck-to-doe ratio is in your favor.  During the lesson phase, you HAVE TO pair up and there are usually two women who have to learn the male role.  In other words, there are at least four more single women than men there.  If you feel awkward about picking up women, here's your shot because they NEED someone to dance with.  At Portsmouth, it's a lot of young ladies from UNH to boot.  Since there's no alcohol served, it's a safe and friendly environment.

Think of it like hunting.  If you are hunting for grouse, you seek out likely cover.  Maybe an over-grown abandoned farm.  You go to where the grouse are.  If you are looking for a woman, go dancing.

No matter where you are in your relationship stage, you will have a better time if you are good at it.  Lessons are available and I've taken one and will probably be headed back after hunting season.
