Eight year old GSP needs a new home (rescue dog, Colt's just fine)

These older dogs are hard to place.  Anyone who can help would be doing a real service.  I can transport as long as it's coodinated through rescue.

Subject: GSP in need

Hi everyone
I’m putting an all-call out to see if anyone would consider fostering for us. There is an 8 yo male, NOT neutered male in a Dexter, ME shelter. Just north of Bangor. The ACO contacted Michele over a week ago to move him out b/c he is spinning and jumping in the kennel. She says he is a nice dog, found at large and when family was contacted, they took 10 days to come down and sign the release form saying they didn’t want him back. Shelter has completely vetted him, but did not neuter him b/c he is too underweight right now. He comes from a home with other dogs and kids. Not sure why they didn’t want him.

If anyone would consider, please let me or Michele know. We feel just awful for this poor guy and we are full up in our regular foster homes.

Thanks!

Audrey
