I am the extremely proud owner/handler of Roxie NA 1 FDJ, and wish to thank the following people for contributing to Roxie's development in the field and my development as handler.

First I must thank my wife, Pascale, for her constant support, encouragement and criticism. Pascale's ability to "read" dogs enabled me to take Roxie to this NA Prize I (112 points) level. Pascale is the person who gave me the insight and strength to "trust my dog" in the field. She told me to stop calling my dog, let the dog hunt, leave her alone she is doing fine. Pascale knows when to make a comment and even when not to make a comment. When I train and test in the field now, I "shut up" and let Roxie unleash her natural abilities herself. The result, an amazing pup that covers the field from side to side and end to end, not missing a thing. Now it all makes sense to me, and seems so easy. "Let the dog hunt" is my new motto. Thank you Pascale.

The second person I must thank is my friend and breeder Todd, of Marshfield Kennels. Todd had the foresight to sell me his pup Roxie, knowing that one day she will be a champion. You never know what will actually happen to your dog when you sell to a stranger, which I was, but Todd has a special gift of being able to read people and see into the future. Thank you Todd for your constant advice, encouragement, friendship and good times this past year. Now the fun begins, NAVHDA's UT and CKC's Field Dog (FD) are next, I can't wait.

Expext more good news from Roxie.
