Another GSP (female) needs a home.

I need a bleeding heart!!! We just have no room in foster care but I’m putting this out to you guys to spread the word.

I also contacted the appropriate people in NY but I’m reaching in all directions too. The NY Rescue person is out of state on family emergency so I’m trying to help with applicants who might be interested in our Daisy, and now this. Yikes!

Subject: gsp owner surrender

Hi, I am Linda White, Second Chance Boxer Rescue and Harmony Haven Canine Rescue.  I got a call yesterday from an owner surrender in the Buffalo, NY area and we like everyone else are full.  She needs to rehome (I know) the following:

4 yr old female purebred GSP, not spayed, up to date on shots.  She has mild seizures that are being controled with medication 2X day costing about $8 per month.  This woman is her second home in 3 months and wants her gone as she says her prey drive is too strong.  She currently lives with 5yr old, teenager, mom and another dog.  Can you help or possibly direct me to another rescue that might be able to?  The local SPCA told her they would put her to sleep due to the seizures if she surrendered her.  Transport would be set up. Thank you for your time, Linda    fawnboxersrule@yahoo.com
