Diamond Dog food is Deadly

These folks killed hundreds of dogs, particularly dogs in kennels, which are frequently sporting and working dogs. It's a cheap dog food, economical, you know. So when you are feeding 4 dogs like me, or even more, it's really tempting to use cheaper foods. I mean if you save a dime per feeding, that's not much with one dog, but it's $12 a month for 4 dogs, and the more dogs you feed the more it adds up.

I bet some of the top hunting dogs in the country are dead. They sponsor field trials. Their web site appears to me to have two pictures of a Shorthairs with a kids of seven pictures.

Diamond probably will not survive this. If they do, it will be under a different brand name. The parent company is SCHELL & KAMPETER, INC. Damage awards in the US are pretty limited for the death of a dog, but the recall may be international.

Let's get this straigt on what the issue is. They allowed the grains they use to become moldy, or allowed the food to become moldy after production. There is no excuse for this.

Get this, many of the dogs smelling the toxins refused to eat, but were enticed into eating by owners applying gravy or mixing in other food. This makes me sick. Sammie died of a poisoning like this. It was horrid. When we put her down, I hit my knees. Her last days were a living hell spent in a strange place, full of tubes, in her own waste.

I really hope Hell has a special place for the folks who did this.

Editor's note:  I don't mind publishing first-hand experiences or personal opinions, but most of this post was hearsay.  Like I said, these Diamond folks should burn in hell, but I don't need to rely second-hand information to justify that opinion when there are plenty of well-documented articles on the topic.  Todd
